Lauren at 14 Months

Here are some pictures from her 14th month.

Here she is showing us where her toes are . . .
and where her nose is . . .

and where her belly is . . .
and where her mouth is . . .and where her head is.
She was relaxing on daddy and then . . .

she wanted to play!

Here is her big brother showing her how to drive.

We went to the rodeo with Canon.

Apparently, she wasn't too impressed with the Tractor.

Various Pictures

Here are some pictures over the last month.

This is in the morning; Lauren loves her new chair!

Just playing around the house. . .

I couldn't resist! This was at the zoo this week. We went with cousin Addison, Aunt Shelley and Aunt Susan. The static was doing wonders for her hair.

Playing music.

Here is Lauren petting the "doggies." All of the goats were doggies. She was cracking me up.

Her new thing is pointing. She was pointing at all of the doggies.
Addison was so sweet with the "baby."

The First Black Eye

After Lauren began walking she tripped and fell into the door frame of the bathroom. Here are some pictures of her bruise. She cut her eye but the doctor said it was pretty superficial. You can't even tell she cut it now, unless you look really close.

Lauren's First Steps

I was actually able to get Lauren's first steps on video to show daddy. She was quite amused with herself. This video was taken December 30th. She is walking all over the place now.

Lauren's First Birthday

We had a great time at Lauren's Cowgirl party. We had lots of friends show up and the kids really enjoyed playing together. The most entertaining part was when Lauren face-planted in her cake. She proceeded to suck all of the icing off of one side of her cake. It was her first time to have cake and ice cream, I dare say, She liked it!!

She sure didn't like her cowgirl hat - we only wanted one picture.

She was cracking us up when she ate her cake!!!

Lauren Dancing

Lauren loves music!! Here is a video of her dancing. We enjoy her company so much - she is pure joy and entertainment.

Visiting Memere and Pepere

Lauren and I got to go visit my parents in Wisconsin. Kathy flew us up as a surprise for my dad. He was shocked when he picked us up from the airport; he was expecting a 70 year old woman. Here are some pictures from the week. Pepere is giving Lauren her favorite treat, Cheerios!!
Lauren got to bond with her Uncle Ben. He watched Lauren quite a few times; he was patient, as usual, and very sweet. I don't think he changed any diapers. We will work on that next time.

It was pretty cold while we were there, needless to say, we aren't used to the cold. We bundled up Lauren so much, I think she had five layers on at one time. She loved it; we went on a walk and she loved the cold air on her face. She was toasty warm so she ended up falling asleep by the end.
We had a great time visiting and we can't wait for them to visit!!
